The Hall of Fame Award is the most prestigious of the track and field awards that an athlete can receive at Bella Vista High School. To receive this award (a special plaque) an athlete must have achieved one (1) of the following individual standards:

1. Win a total of four (4) individual C.A.L. championships and rank in the top five (5) on the all-time varsity performers list in a minimum of two (2) individual events. One (1) or more of these league championships must occur during the athlete’s senior year or last year attending Bella Vista High School.

2. Finish in the top three (3) at the CIF Sac-Joaquin Section Track and Field Masters Meet or achieve the CIF State Meet at large mark two (2) times and rank in the top five (5) of the all-time varsity performers list in a minimum of two (2) individual events. One (1) or more of these section meet placings must occur during the athlete’s senior year or last year attending Bella Vista High School. (Note: Top three (3) in Sac-Joaquin Section Meet qualify for the CIF State Meet.)

3. Finish in the top six (6) at the CIF State Track and Field Meet one (1) time and rank in the top five (5) of the all-time varsity performers list in a minimum of two (2) individual events. The state meet placing must occur during the athlete’s senior year or last year attending Bella Vista High School.

4.  Finish in the top three (3) at the CIF Sac-Joaquin Section Track and Field Masters Meet or achieve the CIF State Meet at large mark two (2) times and hold at least one individual school record.  One (1) or more of these section meet placings must occur during the athlete’s senior year or last year attending Bella Vista High School.

To receive this award a relay team must achieve one (1) or more of the following standards:

Finish in the top three (3) at the CIF Sac-Joaquin Section Track and Field Meet in the 4x100 Meter Relay or the 4x400 Meter Relay.

Rank in the top five (5) in California or the top twenty-five (25) in the United States for the year as ranked by California Track and Running News and Track and Field News.
