FIELD CLEARANCE
How to receive clearance to start track and field practice:
- To receive clearance to start practice with the track and field team you must first read the Bella Vista Athletic Policy Handbook then complete the Athletic Clearance Packet. The Bella Vista Athletic Handbook can be viewed by following this link - Bella Vista Athletic Handbook. The Athletic Clearance Packet can be viewed and downloaded by following this link - Bella Vista Athletic Clearance Packet. Print and complete the clearance packet and when completed return it to the Athletic Director (Mrs. Bebout - room A2 or the attendance office) for approval. Note that you will have to get a physical exam from a doctor. If you have already completed this clearance process for a 2010/11 school year Fall or Winter sport you are cleared and will not have to go through the process again this school year. Remember that if you are in a winter sport (basketball or wrestling) you must complete the winter sport season before you can participate in track and field.
How to get cleared to receive your uniform:
- Once you have completed the above clearance process you will next need to be cleared to receive your uniform so you can compete for the team. To do this you will need to complete the Bella Vista Track and Field Rules Guide sign-off sheet (last page of the team rules guide) stating that you have read and understand the team rules. You will also need to complete an emergency card. Follow this link to print the - Bella Vista Track and Field Rules Guide. Follow this link to print the - emergency card. Bring the completed rules sign-off sheet along with a completed emergency card to Coach U and you will be cleared to get your uniform.
