- High

On the track we run the 100 meters, 200 m, 400 m, 800 m, 1600 m, 3200

events.
Where
Do I Sign-Up?
- At
the sign up meeting December 11 or if you know anyone who missed the meeting
let them know they can sign up with Coach U anytime.
What
About Physical Clearance?
- Before
you can practice with the team (starting January, 22) you must complete and
turn in a clearance packet. Clearance
packets can be picked up from the attendance office.
The packet includes a physical evaluation form, steroid form,
transportation form, team participation form, and BV athletic policy.
After you have gotten your physical from a doctor and you and your
parents have filled out all of the forms in the packet return it back to the
attendance office and in about 24 - 48 hours you can return and get your
gold clearance slip from the attendance secretary.
Bring the gold clearance slip to the coaching staff and you will be
cleared to practice.
- If
you have already completed the clearance packet for the 2007-2008 school
year fall or winter sport just go to the attendance office and they will
give you the clearance slip to bring to the coaches.
This also takes about 24 – 48 hours to process.
What
Kind Of Grades Do I Need?
- You
must have a grade point average (GPA) of 2.0 or better with no F’s and a
citizenship GPA of 2.0 to compete in any sport at Bella Vista. A grade check will be done based on your report card at
the semester. If you do not
meet the above standards you will be ineligible for 3 weeks in which you
will be expected to get your grades up.
You will be able to practice during this time but not compete.
Any
Other Challenges Coach?
- Everyone
is responsible for recruiting one person other than themselves to try Track
and Field. Everyone knows by
now that we win with numbers. See
what you can do!!!
Remember –
Get your physical done before January 22! Make sure your grades are not
slipping!!!
