- Is there conditioning during the summer? Yes, the team does voluntary summer conditioning during the months of June and July. For the summer months conditioning schedule or follow this link for training schedules and this link for training locations.
- How does the sport of cross country work? Follow this link to view the 2023 Bella Vista Cross Country Parent Guide. It has information on how you, the parent, can help your daughter/son to succeed in the sport of cross country. In addition it covers the basic rules of cross country, how a meet is scored, the equipment you will need, and running terminology.
- How do I get cleared to participate? To receive clearance to start practice with the cross country team you must complete the BV Athletics clearance process (click here to view documents and instructions). Note that you will have to get a physical exam from a doctor.
- When are the meets? A season schedule of meets can be found at this link - Season Schedule.
- How do I get a uniform? To receive your uniform you will need to read the team rules in the Bella Vista Cross Country Rules Handbook then complete the sign-off sheet stating that you have read and understand the team rules. The Bella Vista uniform store can be viewed at this link.
- What kind of grades do I need to participate in sports at BV? You must have a grade point average (GPA) of 2.0 or better with no more than one F to compete in any sport at Bella Vista. For more information on academic requirements refer to the BV Athletic Handbook.
